I made this app prototype as part of the project “A Guide to”, from the module Integrated Content Design of the MA Communication Design at the University of Reading. The colours, typography used throughout the printed version of this guide is also used in the design of the app.
Mexican gastronomic History app contains recipes that supposed to be mentioned throughout the guide book, but also many more that were not mentioned due to the space limitations of the layout.

The digital app is promoted around the book with a four number code to be found in the introductory pages and to be mentioned in the back cover. This app is a complimentary gift that can only be obtained by buying the printed book. By writing the four number code inside the book the user will have access to the app.
